School Climate Survey
Safety, respect, and engagement as students actually experience them.
4 questions · 1 page · about 2 minutes to answer · fully editable after you start
School climate is the weather students learn in: whether hallways feel safe, whether adults intervene when something is wrong, whether effort is respected by peers. This survey measures those daily realities on frequency scales students can answer honestly, plus an anonymous space to report what adults do not see.
Administer it to students anonymously each semester, and consider parallel versions for staff and parents – the perception gaps between the three groups are usually the most useful finding of all.
Replace [local emergency number, e.g. 000] and [local crisis line, e.g. Lifeline on 13 11 14] in its opening note with the services where your respondents live, before you share it: the numbers shown are Australia's. The Collect tab lists both until they are changed.
