Call for Papers Submission
Structured talk proposals: abstract, level, takeaways, and speaker background.
5 questions · 1 page · about 4 minutes to answer · fully editable after you start
Programme committees drown in prose when submissions lack structure. This CFP form disciplines the pitch: title and abstract to length, audience level declared, the three concrete takeaways attendees will leave with, format and duration, and the speaker's evidence of delivery.
The word limit on the abstract is a feature and should be enforced rather than suggested. Committees reviewing a hundred proposals read the first paragraph of each; a submitter who needs eight hundred words to describe a thirty-minute talk has told the committee something useful about how the talk will go.
The takeaways field is the committee's shortcut: proposals that cannot name three takeaways cannot fill thirty minutes. Keep the declared audience level visible during selection too – a strong intermediate talk and a strong beginner talk are not competing for the same slot, and programmes that review purely on quality end up with three sessions for the same experience level and nothing for anyone else.
