Clubs run on volunteer energy and member goodwill, and both erode invisibly. This season-end survey reviews what members joined for – coaching quality, training organisation, competition opportunities, facilities – and the culture layer that decides whether families stay: welcome, communication, and fairness of selection.
The selection-fairness question takes courage to ask and pays for itself: perceived unfairness is the top unspoken reason youth memberships lapse, and surfacing it lets coaches address it openly.
