Run an ethics-ready research questionnaire

Research surveys need what generic tools bolt on badly: enforced consent before any data, anonymity that will survive an ethics-board question, and export that doesn't need a cleaning script.

The short way: A questionnaire where consent structurally precedes data, responses can be collected with no IP address or identity saved alongside them, and the dataset exports analysis-ready — the ethics application writes itself.

Ready-made templates for this

Prefer to start from a questionnaire rather than a description? These are already written.

Type this — that’s the whole job

“A research questionnaire on remote work and burnout: consent statement first, validated wellbeing scale items, work pattern questions, demographics last”

No setup, no tutorial. The words above go with you — review what the AI builds, then share the link.

How it works — three steps

  1. 1

Describe your instrument (paste scale items if you have them); the AI structures pages in research order.

  2. 2

Consent gate on — no acceptance, no stored data, recorded per response — and Anonymous responses on for the link.

  3. 3

Export the anonymised dataset to CSV for your stats package.

What’s doing the work

Consent gatePro

Storage is impossible before acceptance — the claim your ethics form makes, enforced by machine.

Anonymous collection

No IP address, browser details or identity link are saved with a response — done by the product when the response is saved, not left to policy. Routine server logs are separate (see the Privacy Policy).

SPSS-ready export

An SPSS .sav with short variable names, question and value labels, and one column per item — no renaming session.

Questions people ask

Will this satisfy an ethics board?

The mechanics they probe — enforced consent, structural anonymity, retention deletion, no third-party AI on responses by default — are all built in and documentable. Your protocol still does the arguing.

Can participants withdraw after submitting?

With anonymous data there is nothing saved with a response to trace it back to a person; if your design needs withdrawal, use a participant-generated code question and delete on request by code.

Minutes, not weeks. That’s the deal.
