Localisation Fit Survey
Does the offering translate: language, payment, service norms, and cultural fit.
4 questions · 1 page · about 2 minutes to answer · fully editable after you start
Products cross borders; expectations do not. This localisation survey checks the fit dimensions that sink launches quietly: language quality beyond translation, payment methods locals actually use, service norms (hours, channels, formality), and the cultural-fit perceptions natives can articulate and foreigners cannot see.
Run it with people who are not your customers as well as those who are. Existing customers have already tolerated whatever feels foreign about you; the market you are failing to reach is the one that can name the reason, and it is usually a payment method or a tone of address rather than anything on the roadmap.
The feels-foreign-because write-ins are the localisation backlog, straight from the market's mouth. Expect them to cluster around things no translation vendor is scoped to fix – date formats, name fields that reject local naming conventions, support hours set to a distant timezone, a formality register that reads as either cold or presumptuous. Those are cheap to correct and disproportionately expensive to leave.
