Advertising Creative Test
Pre-test ad creative: message takeaway, emotional response, and brand recall.
4 questions · 1 page · about 2 minutes to answer · fully editable after you start
An ad can be liked and still fail – if viewers cannot say what it was selling or who it was for. This creative test measures the sequence that matters: what message the viewer took away in their own words, how the ad made them feel, whether they remember the brand, and whether it nudged intent.
The unaided takeaway question comes first, before the ad is named or explained – that ordering is the test. Run competing creatives with separate collectors and compare takeaway accuracy, not just likability. Replace [Show the ad here: a link to the video or image, or where respondents saw it] with the ad itself before you share it.
