Free Agency and IT Project Enquiry template
Websites, apps, marketing and IT support: the goal, what is in place today, worries, deadline, budget and sign-off.
10 questions · 4 pages · about 4 minutes to answer · fully editable after you start
An agency brief usually arrives as one paragraph and a deadline. This enquiry gathers the rest: what kind of work is needed (a website, an app, systems joined up, marketing, or managed IT), the goal and how success will be measured, what is already in place (and, only when something is, which platforms and suppliers), the three biggest worries about the project, whether a launch date is fixed, the budget range and who signs off.
Replace [What your agency or IT firm does] on the opening page and [two business days] in the closing note. Knowing the sign-off route before the first call tells you whether to bring a proposal or a conversation.
