Free Building and Trade Quote Request template
Builders and trades: the work, the property, site access, a photo, what matters, start date and budget band.
11 questions · 4 pages · about 5 minutes to answer · fully editable after you start
A quote that starts with a site visit costs a morning. A quote that starts with this form often needs no visit at all: the kind of work (repair, renovation, extension, servicing or installation), a description of the job, the type of property, any access problems (asked about only when there are some, so the right ladder or trailer comes along), a photo of the area, and what matters most to the owner, whether that is speed, a fixed price or a clean site.
Replace [Your trade, and the area you cover] on the opening page and [two business days] on the last one. Budget is asked in bands with an option for not sure yet, because most owners do not know the cost until someone tells them.
